It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine Ghys of Bluffton, South Carolina, born in Athens, Georgia, who passed away on February 28, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Paris and Elizabeth 'Betty Decker Paris. She is survived by: her husband Johannes Ghys (Jan); her daughters, Maria Drawdy (Charlie), Anna Molenaar (Remko) and Sarah Ghys (Topaz Wong); her granddaughter Charlotte Wong; her siblings, David Paris (Phyllis), Elizabeth 'Babbie Guscio (Don), Corben Paris (Corrine DeCicco) and Dr. Trevor Paris (Sandy); her sister-in-law Ina Ghys; and her sister Babbie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family will be practicing social distancing.
