Betty Elizabeth Belk Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Elizabeth Belk of Blythewood, South Carolina, who passed away on June 22, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Marion Trapp and Nannie Eloise Branham Trapp; and her sister Beatrice Howard. She is survived by : her children, Thomas Belk (Angie), Greg Belk (Robyn) and Karen Silvia (Randy); her grandchildren, Adam (Nikki), Tangela, Wayne Burton (Meredith), Shane, Christopher, Jonah, Laotha, Brent (Hannah) and Hannah; her great grandchildren, Lexi of Nadia, TJ, Sutton, Brynnleigh, Jacob, Tanner and Mary Blythe; and her siblings, Eloise Raines, Minnie Bell Smith and Joe "Bud" Trapp (Martha Ann).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.

Fran Allen wrote a sympathy message

“So sad to read of Dodi Bug's death. That's the name we used growing up next to the family in Blythewood. I am the former Frances Nelson and have so many good memories of this family and ours playing together. To Eloise, Minnie Bell and Buddy I sent my sympathy. I lost my oldest Sister Dorothy several years ago and my middle Sister Peggy is suffering from mental problems here in Columbia. It's been years ago but my memories are precious. RIP little angel.
