He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe B. Norris and Estherlene Weaver Norris; and his siblings, Joey Norris, Sharon McAnally, Keith Norris, Timothy Norris and Kevin Norris.

He is survived by : his wife Edith "Jean" Jeter Norris; his son Michael "Mike" L. Norris, Jr. (Tonia); his grandchildren, Taylor Norris, Cameron J. Davis (Camille Smallwood) and Shelby Norris; his siblings, Jeffrey D. Norris (Julie), Rick Peterson (Carol), Roland Schmitt (Birgit) and Joanna Norris (Randy); and his sister-in-law Bonnie J. McManus. He is also survived by extended family members and countless friends.
