She is survived by : her daughter Tonya L. Hood; her niece Sue Lamm; her nephew Michael Joyner (Heather); her close friends, Darlene Rust, Collette Turnipseed, Debra Collie and Deborah Johnson; and her children, P. O. Box and Middlesex.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel (7600 Trenholm Rd Ext, Columbia, SC 29223).
