It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Green Smith of Blythewood, South Carolina, born in Bellwood, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 29, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Mildred Green and Paul Green; her husband Robert W. Smith; and her daughter Mildred Ruth. She is survived by : her daughters, Brenda Gross (Nick) and Betty Jo Bennett (Bill); her grandchildren, Ryan Gross, Kyle Gross (Sarah), Chad McCorkle (Maria) and Allison McCorkle; her great grandchild Hannah Jane McCorkle; and her stepgrandchildren, Charlie Bennett (Amy), Zack Bennett (Jenna), Stephanie Bennett, Caleb, Joshua, Tristan Rose, Christopher, Brandon Bennett, Landon, Hunter, Carly and Issac Bennett. She is also survived by loving "Mama" to her daughters and a beloved "Gaga" to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
