With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Easterlin of Bowman, South Carolina, who passed away on December 11, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Easterlin and Mattie Mae Easterlin of Bowman; her former life partner Richard Way; her granddaughter Abby Nelson; her son-in-law Robert M. Nelson, III; and her siblings, Carol Fender, F. C. Earterlin, Jr. and Thomas Easterlin.

She is survived by : her children, Sonya Bennett (John) of Bowman, Julie Nelson of Bowman, Michael Way (Ann) of Bowman, Wesley Way (Lynda) of Florence and Matthew Way (Aleisa) of Vance; and her grandchildren, Betsy Murphy (Josh), Paul Bennett (Jessi), Anne Adams (Travis), Richard Way, Philip Way, Bryan Way (Nathalie), Brook Moore (Dylan), Emily Nelson, Dillon Way, Dakota Way (Clare), Aiden McDaniel, Landon, Brantley Gibson, Murphy, Rylee and McCoy. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Bowman Southern Methodist Church, P.O. Box 217, Bowman, SC 29018.
