She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Thompson and Florrie Thompson; and her siblings, Floydell McAlhany, Mae Brickle, Eloise Dukes, Lib Bennett, Tommy Thompson and Bill Thompson.
She is survived by: her spouse K. M. Stevens (Donald); her siblings, James Thompson (Lenore) and Catherine Schunhoff (Tommy); her children, Faye S. Kinard (Buddy), Gail Branham and Ken Stevens, Jr. (Pam); her grandchildren, Phillip Schurr, Jason Noel, Casey S. Johnston (Ryan) and Brock Stevens; and her great grandchildren, Olivia Johnston, Jax Johnston, Lainey Johnston and K. J. Stevens.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Edisto Baptist Church (4831 Edisto River Rd, Branchville, SC 29432). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Edisto Baptist Church Building Fund or the Alzheimer's Association.
