He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Owen Edwards and Annie Adelle Summers Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine B Edwards; and his children, Ralph Fred Edwards of Branchville, William Owen Edwards (Gina) of Cope and Sharon E. Bailey (Pete) of Moncks Corner. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one sister, and a number of nieces and nephews.
