He is survived by : his son Benji L. Welch of Lake City; his stepson Starlin Welch of Cades; his grandchildren, Thomas Welch and Charlotte Welch; his stepgrandchildren, Star Welch, Amber Welch McKenzie (Ken) and Spencer Welch (Laiken); his stepgreat-grandsons, Charlie McKenzie, Kash Welch and Landon Welch; his siblings, Alex Welch (Mary) of New Zion, Mitchell Welch of Turbeville, Terry Welch (Tammy) of Turbeville, Geraldine Coker (Allen) of Turbeville and Shirley Marie Lee of Turbeville; his half-brothers, Donald Welch of Manning and James "Shorty" Welch (Carolyn) of Manning; and his sister-in-law Hope Osborne Feagin (Shane) of Manning. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
