She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh Jesse Johnson, Jr.; and her parents, Maynard Pate and Etta McInvaille Pate. She is survived by: her daughter Renee J. Thompson (John); her granddaughters, Jesseca Camille "Cammy" Thompson (Candace), Laurel T, Jonellon T. Edgerton (EJ) and Charleston Hannah Thompson; her great grandchildren, Bayne Simmons, Finley Simmons, Dru Edgerton, Gunner Edgerton, Hugh Zawadzki Thompson and Liam Zawadzki Thompson; and her brother Bobby Pate (Beth). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church Family Life Center Email (274 State Rd S-28-133, Lugoff, SC 29078). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church (1206 Lyttleton St, Camden, SC 29020).
