He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie and Annie Wood, Sr.; his wife Oretta Wood; his grandson Ro'Sheed Goodwin; and his great grandchild Kamiya Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Demetria Wood, Xavier Wood, Susan Belton, Rhonda Belton of Camden, SC, Tiffany Sumpter (Chris) of Sumter, SC and Jennifer Blyther (Jermaine) of Washington, DC; his siblings, Berdine Thompson of Lugoff, SC, Tyrone Wood (Ruthie) of Elgin, SC, Angel Wood of Cassatt, SC, Harvey Wood and Paul Wood of Camden, SC; and his parents-in-law, Betty Belton of Indian Trail, NC, Thelma Smalls (Leroy) of Camden, SC, Jimmy Belton (Mary) of Mt. Vernon, Allene Kirkland of New Rochelle, NY and Bertha Belton of Grand Forks, ND. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
