He was predeceased by: his parents, Lomis Wellington Wages, Jr. and Malloy Morris Smith; and his daughter Suzanne Wages. He is survived by: his wife Katharine Reynolds Wages (Kay); his children, Michael Wages (Leah) of Jackson, TN, Kevin Thuerwaechter of Lockhart, TX, G. W. Aadnesen of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Katie Chmiel (Paul) of Camden and Judd Sahr of Cincinnati, OH; his grandchildren, Lydia, Piper, Juniper, Zachary, Cayden, Crickette, Lillian, Mila, Josie and Jessi; and his sister Shelba King of Cary, NC..
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ft. Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Grace Episcopal Church (1315 Lyttleton St, Camden, SC 29020).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fisher House Foundation, Inc. or the Grace Church Ecuador Youth Mission Trip.
