He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Agnes Green Rugman and Paul Rugman; his wife Betty Anne Rugman; his sons, Bill Rugman of Columbia and Ben Rugman (Morgan Fulmer) of Gaston; his granddaughters, Brooke Roberts and Hope Rosier; and his sisters, Carol Gunion and Ellen Powers (Tim).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dream Riders Therapeutic Riding Center, 156 Sand Hill Road, Lexington, S.C. 29072.
