She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Barnes and Hannah Austin Barnes; her husband Eugene Matthew Dixon; and her siblings, Dan Barnes, William Hunter, Sally Murphy and Catherine Murphy.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Teneka Nieves (Kris) of Maryland and Brooke Dixon of Lugoff; her great grandchild Kamyah Nieves of Maryland; and her siblings, Susie Scott of Lugoff, Rosa Lee Barnes of New Haven, Williene Dixon of Lugoff, Gracie Brown of Camden, Mary Gaskins of Camden, David Barnes of Camden and Harold Hunter of Lugoff. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
