He was predeceased by: his parents, Moses Lee and Rebecca Zemp Mays; and his sister Rebecca Mays. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Team Mays; his daughters, Margaret Boykin Mays of Charleston, SC and Mays Bland (Kingsland) of Charleston, SC; and his grandchildren, King and Marlee Bland.
