It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie Henson Griffeth of Camden, South Carolina, born in Six Mile, South Carolina, who passed away on March 16, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Ray Griffeth; and her parents, Otha Hamilton and Ora Kidder Robinson Henson. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Beckham (Buster) of Camden and Ruth Ann Welch (Brian) of Pass Christian, MS; her grandchildren, Mary Kate West (Maury) of Camden, Marlee Marsh (Graham) of Camden, Griff Beckham (Gretchen) of Camden and Emma Welch of Pass Christian, MS; and her great grandchildren, Reese, Patrick, Caston West, Mac, Levi Marsh, Reeves and Banks Beckham. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Hall 100 at Springdale Healthcare, Camden, SC for their compassionate care to Margie, especially during the quarantine due to Covid 19.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the Community Medical Clinic of Kershaw County, 110 E Dekalb St., Camden SC 29020 or another memorial of one's choice.
