She was predeceased by: her parents, Merritt Aaron Goodman and Mary Goodman Mackey; her sons, Eddie Stuard Sanders and Rev. James Merrit Sanders; and her siblings, Rufus, Lorraine, Louise, Josie Maye and Emma.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Meyer (Phillip) of Augusta, GA, Connie Diane Young (Greg) of Camden, SC, Terry Lee Sanders (Carolyn) of Kershaw, SC and Perry Eugene Sanders of Cassatt, SC; her sister Dorothy Devitt of Augusta, GA; and her daughter-in-law Terry Kay Sanders of Chester, SC.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
