She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Ray and Anna Spradley Ray; her sons, John Wayne Cook and John "Ed" Cook; and her siblings, Dunnie Ray, Colie Ray, Albert Ray, Danny Ray, Rosa Lee Petticord and Elizabeth Hutchinson.

She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Parker (Chuck Smith) of Camden; her sister Essie Taylor of Dade City, FL; her daughter-in-law Frances Cook; her grandchildren, Jason Cook and Melissa Cook; and her great grandchildren, Morgan Sharp, Mckenzie Sharp and Lucy Varner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the KershawHealth Hospice.
