He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Malcolm and Florrie Parker Walters; and his sister Christine Rowell. He is survived by : his wife Doris M. Walters; and his children, Randy Walters (Valerie), Dale Walters (Carlene), Karen Marcusson, Debbie Mays (Stephen) and Donna Baker. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Cassatt Baptist Church or Alzheimer's foundation.
