He is survived by : his wife Janet Yarborough Smith; his children, Lawrence E. "Trey" Smith, III (Chastity), Misty Smith, Eric Miles and Stephanie Miles; and his siblings, Barbara S. Smith, Pam S. Julian (Dave), Glen Smith (Nancy), Jerry Smith (Vicki), Jimmy Smith (Debra) and Philip Smith (Cynde). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren.
