It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Hinkle Amick (Chapin, South Carolina), who passed away on December 22, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Silas Amick; his siblings, Lawrence, Willard, Homer, Ansel, Elmer, Gary, Guessie Mae Connelly, Merikey "Becky" Cannon and Elberta Frick; and his son-in-law Jerald Shealy.
He is survived by: his mother Minnie Lindler Amick; his wife Elizabeth Hill Amick; his daughters, Kathy Lee (Derrick), Kaye Shealy (Charles), Faye Shealy and Debra Amick; his grandchildren, Kevin Shealy (Wendy), Julie Henson (Josh), Stewart Lee (Lindy), Allison Patton (Ric), Jason Shealy (Betsy) and Kelli Robinson (Theron); and his great grandchildren, Morgan, Jennifer Shealy, Katelyn, Fitz Patton, Kiarin Dixon, William, Andrew, David, Eleanor Shealy, Zack Henson, Willow and Theodore Robinson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
