She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth G. Gentry; her parents, Claude P. Beal and Julia Oakley Beal; her daughter Julia Lillian-Ann Gentry; and her nephew Larry L. Welch, Jr..
She is survived by: her granddaughter Lisa; her daughter Lisa Richberg (Scott); her grandchildren, Eli Richberg of Charleston and Emma Richberg of Charleston; her sister-in-law Ruthann Gentry; her niece Emily Oakes (J. R.); and her great-nieces, Sylvie Oakes of Raleigh, NC. and Lydia Oakes of Raleigh, NC..
