She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ernest Carroll and Helen Bazar Carroll; her son John Dawson (Skipper); and her friend Chel Whaley. She is survived by: her husband John Edward Dawson, III; her children, Kelly P. Dawson (Sheila) of Hanahan, SC, Michelle D. Lloyd (Danny) of Summerville, SC and Tiffany D. Murray (Rob) of Charleston, SC; her daughter-in-law Michele Dawson of North Charleston, SC; her grandchildren, Taylor Moore (Chad), Haley Dawson, Daniel Lloyd, Cooper Dawson, Garrick Murray, Drew Lloyd and Ellie Murray; her great grandchild Nolan Moore; and her sister-in-law Barbara Dawson.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint John's Catholic Church (3921 St Johns Ave, Charleston, SC 29405).
