We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2025, at the age of 84, Dorothy Anne Wingfield of Charleston, South Carolina passed away. She is survived by: her children, John Jr. (Gena), Mark, Scott, Michael and Linda Hipps (Mark); her grandchildren, Hailee (Benjamin), Laycee (Cory), Nicholas, Michael Jr., Chase, Isaac and Landis; her great grandchildren, Asher, Chloe and Penelope; and her sister Linda Wainwright. She is also survived by extended family and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Saint Clare of Assisi Catholic Church (990 Etiwan Park St, Charleston, SC 29492). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Hobcaw Brewing Company (496 Long Point Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464).
