He was predeceased by: his parents, William Early and Ethel Collier Heaton; his grandparents, Edgar, Ola Bell Heaton, Oliver and Ruth Collier; and his brother Steven M. Heaton.
He is survived by: his brother Terry Heaton (Becky); his sibling's children, Jason Heaton (Lisa P.), Travis Heaton (Lisa A.), Karen Heaton and Julie Cross; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Reid Holland, William Heaton, Wyatt Heaton, Anna Grace Cross, Scarlett Heaton, Maddie Heaton and Caroline Heaton; and also, Robert, Tiffannie Clifford and Lauren Clifford Sarkela.
