He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Elmo and Juanita; his wife Susan Stevens; his children, Matthew (Ainsley) of Charleston, Jennifer Harding (Bob) of Greenville and Anresa of Charleston; his grandchildren, Thomas, Resa, Mary, Jacob, Sally and Daniel; and his sister Brenda Helmly (Neal). He was also cherished by many aunts, one uncle, and many nieces and nephews.
