It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriet Fitch Fosberry of Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, we take solace in the memories we hold dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Harriet may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by : her husband Eugene Frances Fosberry, Jr. (Gene); her sisters, Ellen Fitch Gore and Nina Fitch Early; and her son Donald Eugene Fosberry (Donnie).

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home (1620 Savannah Hwy, Charleston, SC 29407). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (604 Fort Johnson Rd, Charleston, SC 29412).
