It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Henry Moorer Jr. of Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Henry Moorer and Mildred Stone Moorer; his wife Barbara; and his grandson Jordan McDermott. He is survived by: his daughter Kim McDermott (Pat McDermott); his grandson Chris McDermott (Melanie); his great grandchildren, Logan McDermott and Madelyn McDermott; his daughter Teri Moorer Howard (David Tedder); his grandsons, Kyle Howard and Ryan Howard; his mother-in-law Tiffany; his great grandchild Evie Rose; his brother-in-law LeRoy Pearson; and his niece Jamie Pearson Hankins.
