It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Croghan of Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, LeRoy Joseph Runey and Alma Branford Runey; her husband Daniel L. Croghan; her son Daniel L. Croghan, Jr. (Meg); her grandchildren, Daniel L. Croghan III and Lauren Croghan; and her sister Barbara R. Detyens. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid concerns, her Mass of Christian Burial and Rite of Committal will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bishop England High School, 363 Seven Farms Dr, Daniel Island, SC 29492.
