He is survived by: his wife Patricia Berry Polutta; his children, Cheryl Polutta Olsen, Mathew Joseph Polutta III (Abby) and Mark Oliver Polutta (Yuan); and his grandsons, Reed, Theodore, Daniel and Noah.
