“I worked with Alan for a year. He worked hard & cared well for people. Something that really sticks out in my memory of him is how FAST he ran to codes. When a patient becomes out of hand, a code is called over an intercom signaling that staff need backup ASAP, & Alan was always the FIRST ONE to make it to the scene. He ran FULL SPEED to make sure his coworkers were safe, or to catch a patient trying to run away. I was blown away by his urgency to protect us. I’m so sorry. I’m broken by this.”
