She was predeceased by: her parents, Wheeler Hayes and Lily Price Hayes; and her close friend Jack Purvis Grady. She is survived by: her son Hayes Louthian of Charleston, SC; her granddaughter Caroline; and her siblings, Charlie Hayes and Mildred Miller.
