He was predeceased by: his parents, Terry Wayne McCormick and Carol Smoak Rast. He is survived by: his husband Scott Alexander Hendrix of Charleston; his stepmother Vicki McClure McCormick of Orangeburg; his sister Jaime McCormick Moorer (Guy); his sibling's children, Chandler (Cassie) and Chloe of Cope, SC; and his half-brother Timothy William McCormick of Simpsonville, SC. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Founder’s Hall (1500 Old Towne Rd, Charleston, SC 29407).
