He is survived by : his wife Rhonda Reames Hills; his daughter Amber Hills; his granddaughter Ariel Hills; his sisters, Joyce Lybrand (Sammy) of Edisto Island, SC and Dottie Thomas of Edisto Island, SC; and his sisters-in-law, Felecia Boyd of James Island, SC and Pamela Temples Padgett (Jack) of Charleston, SC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Church on Edisto Island, PO Box 86, Edisto Island, South Carolina, 29438.
