He is survived by: his parent Cornelia Rhodes McPherson; his children, Jon Richard McPherson, Chelsea McPherson and Reagan McPherson; his grandson Zared Sheilds; and his siblings, John Randall "Randy" McPherson (Sherry), William Ray McPherson (Melody) and Reba McPherson.
