She was predeceased by: her parents, Nell Eulalia Purvis and William; and her sister Nell Purvis Davidson. She is survived by: her husband Malcolm Lafayette Marion, Jr.; her children, Malcolm Lafayette Marion, III, William Lee, Alexander Douglas Marion and Ann Davidson Marion Lorenz; her grandchildren, Jane McCollum Marion Wilson, E. B. Wilson, Matthew Irvine Marion (Stephanie Cirilo Marion), Sarah Whitfield Marion, Laura Douglass Marion and Peyton Donaldson Marion; and her great grandchildren, Malcolm Jefferson, Burris Davidson Wilson, Robert Samuel Marion and Cora Rose Marion. She is also survived by daughter, daughter-in-law and two granddaughters.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor be made to the Chester A.R.P. Church, P.O. Box 174, Chester, SC 29706: the Chester County Historical Society, P.O. Box.
