She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert L. Maddox, Sr.; and her children, Robert L. Maddox, Jr. (Amanda) of Concord, Ricky D. Maddox of Mooresville, Jonathan E. Maddox, Doris M Hooper of Kannapolis, Priscilla M. Allison (John) of Kannapolis and Robin A Johnson (Curtis) of Omaha, NE. She was also cherished by 26 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; uncle, Roosevelt Stokes of Kannapolis; companion, John Melchor, Jr.; sister-in-law, Maggie Maddox of Lincolnton; extended family John Melchor, III, Carla Walker (Matthew) Linda Melchor, Kelly Rose (Caleb) and a host of cousins and friends.
