She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, O. C. Brown, Jr. and Ruth; her husband John Lyles Young; her children, Janice Brawley of Chester and Patrick Young (Sonia) of Chester; and her brother O. C. Brown, III of Jacksonville. She was also cherished by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
