He was predeceased by: his parents, L. H. Clayton and Lucy Taylor Clayton. He is survived by: his children, Danny D. "Red" Clayton of Chester, SC and Donna Lynn Coley (Buck) of Blackstock, SC; his grandchildren, Blake Stephens (Brittany) of Chester, SC and Lexi Coley of Blackstock, SC; his great grandchildren, Rhylei Stephens of Chester, SC and Sailor Stephens of Chester, SC; and his sisters, Bobbie Pressley of Kannapolis, NC and Opal Burris of Kannapolis, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
