She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Ballard and Marjorie Ernestine Kearney Ballard; her husband David Thomas McAbee, III; and her grandson Scott Lee Jeanes. She is survived by: her daughters, Anita Jeanes (Dennis) of Chester, SC, Rhonda Smith (Gary) of Chester, SC and Kimberly Starnes of Chester, SC; and her siblings, Ernest Ballard (Debbie) of Charleston, SC and Cheryl Stepp of Chester, SC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
