He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack C. Parkins and Lois Canupp Parkins Brank; his brother Jackie Parkins; and his nephew Paul Fairfax. He is survived by: his sisters, Neely Parkins of Chester, SC and Debbie Melton (Larry) of Chester, SC; and his siblings' children, Trilby Grace of Hickory, NC., Judd Fairfax of Chester, SC and Shannon Melton-Fowler of Carlisle, SC.
