He was predeceased by: his parents, John Woodrow Gaston and Ada Dallas Gaston; and his siblings, Frayer Gaston and Louise Jeanes. He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Roof Gaston; his children, Cindy Williamson (David), Bonnie Birch, Donnie Mobley (David), Chris Gaston (Cindy) and Trystyn Gaston; his grandson Ricky Birch of Chester, SC; and his sister Linda Estridge (Jack) of Kershaw, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
