It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freida Geneva Stewart Green of Chester, South Carolina, who passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Stewart and Emma Peay Stewart; her husband William Ross Green, Sr.; her son William Ross "Chip" Green, Jr.; and her son-in-law Melvin Steele.

She is survived by : her daughter Rita Steele of Grand Junction, CO; her grandchildren, Bridget Green Cameron (Billy) of Chester, SC and Kris Robinson (Patti) of Grand Junction, CO; her great grandchildren, Bailey Beasley (Tori) of Chester, SC, Brilee Beasley (Jubal) of Chester, SC and Adam Beasley of Chester, SC; her great great grandchild Briar Beasley of Chester, SC; and her daughter-in-law Linda Ivey (Russel) of Blackstock, SC..
