She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Massey and Odessa Harris Massey; her husband John Robert Shirley, Sr.; and her siblings, John Massey, Clio Massey, Edna Moore and Flora Mae Massey.
She is survived by: her children, John R. "Robert" Shirley, Jr. (Margaret) of Chester and Carolyn Beasley of Chester; her grandchildren, Shan "Tony" Shirley (Melanie) of Chester, Robert Scott Shirley (Lisa) of Blackstock, Chris Beasley of Chester and Renee Beasley of Chester; and her great grandchildren, Tony, Thomas, Rachel, Taylor, Dustin, Mac and Faith. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and her special furry friend.
