It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Copeland Sr. of Chester, South Carolina, born in Kershaw, South Carolina, who passed away on April 15, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Milton Copeland and Geraldine Goude Copeland; his daughter Kristie Marie Copeland Deas; and his great grandchild Ariel Rivera. He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Feaster Copeland; his son James Edward "Eddie" Copeland, Jr. of Chester, SC; his grandchildren, Summer Renee Rivera of Chester, SC, Marty Allen Deas, Jr. and Breanna Marie Copeland of Chester, SC; and his siblings, Janet Lee Johnson and Timmy Copeland of Chester, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
