It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. West Sr. (Chester, South Carolina), born in Landrum, South Carolina, who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul A. West and Ivadell Howard West. He is survived by: his wife Marie Roberts West; his son James R. West, II; his grandsons, Jimmy and Andy West; his son Brian Bradley West (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Tyler, Haley, Hunter and Heidi West; his son Christopher West (Sarah); his grandchildren, Daniel, Matthew, Dominick, McGinley, Syla, Kimber and Caius West; his uncles, Olin Howard (Ruby) and Ray Howard; and his aunt Hazel Hammett.
Dr. M. Todd Lowe will conduct the graveside funeral service, with social distancing protocols, 11:00 a. m. Tuesday at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
