He was predeceased by: his parents, T. C. Robinson and Katherine Gay Robinson; and his brother Timothy Charles Robinson. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Blair Robinson; his daughters, Leigh Robinson of Charlotte, NC, Cynthia Koch of Germany, Christie Koch of Charleston, SC and Teresa Bennett (Michael) of Rock Hill; his stepson Willie Pressley (Susan) of Edgemoor, SC; his brothers, Michael Robinson (Mary Lou) of Belmont, NC and Randy Robinson (Rebecca) of Vale, NC; and his daughter-in-law Tracy Pressley of Savannah. He is also survived by 14 grand-children and 5 great-grand-children.
