He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Thomas and Elvie Moore Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Pitts Thomas; his children, Joseph Thomas Jr. (Joan) of Hanoverton, OH, Jeffery Thomas (Laurie) of Hanoverton, OH, Jerry Thomas (Tammy), Michelle Satterfield (Dave) of Salem, OH and Melissa Hippley (Dave Clouser) of Polk, OH; and his siblings, Mary Mack of Uniontown, OH and Jake Thomas of Salinas, CA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
