He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Love McElwee and Mildred Parrot McElwee; his children, Louise (Mike Brown) of Lake City, SC, Joe (Sheryl) of Anderson, SC, Beth (Chris Daly) of Richmond and Ann (Matt McCrorey) of Richburg, SC.; and his grandchildren, Mike Brown (Jolie), Will Brown (Jessie), Elizabeth Brown, Barron Voskuil (Ryan), Tripp McElwee (Eliza), Anna Koon (Austin), Margaret McElwee, Mary Lapsley Daly of Christopher Daly, Garrison McCrorey (Gabriella) and Madison McCrorey. He was also cherished by his children and grandchildren coming through the door, and the love he shared with his wife.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Chester A. R. P. Church.
