It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Jefferis Deese of Chester, South Carolina, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on July 25, 2021, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William Jefferis. She is survived by: her husband Mark Deese; her daughters, Kelli Ashworth of Rock Hill and Lisa Ashworth of Columbia; her granddaughter Brittany Taylor of Rock Hill; her mother Barbara Vail (Newt) of Edgemoor, SC; and her siblings, William Jefferis (Tiffany) of Clover, SC and Kathy Cortopassi (Tim) of Chester.
